Ah, Electronic Fun. Of all the video game, home computing, arcade magazines, I loved this one the most. Game reviews (called Hits and Missles), programming tips, color ads and social commentary all for the low price of $2.50 a month. This cover was my favorite. The 1984 article, along with Apple’s 1984 super bowl ad, promted me to read 1984 when I was in ninth grade and do a book report and a term paper on George Orwell’s 1984. I think I got a C+.
